This organization has had one of the most meaningful impacts on my college experience, and I am deeply grateful for the role it has played in my growth. After transferring from a university over 1,000 miles away, I arrived at Texas A&M knowing very few people. Aside from my roommates and a handful of friends back home, I initially found the transition challenging. It felt very different from the common idea that “college is the best years of your life.” As a new student, I struggled to build a social life and often felt as though established friend groups were already set in place. At the start of my junior year, I met one of my closest friends, who had experienced a similar transition. He introduced me to Aggie Originals and shared how much the organization had impacted him. Encouraged by his experience, I joined in the Spring of 2025. Since then, Aggie Originals has provided me with a strong sense of community and belonging. Through this organization, I have built meaningful relationships with like-minded individuals and formed friendships that I believe will last a lifetime. I have had the opportunity to attend social events, serve in the community, help lead a Bible study, and grow both personally and spiritually. These experiences have challenged me, strengthened my leadership abilities, and helped shape me into the best version of myself.

Texas A&M Varsity Bowling Team

Bowling has been a lifelong passion and an important part of my personal story. My grandfather bowled competitively and passed the sport down to my father and uncle. My father then taught me how to bowl, creating a bond that has strengthened our relationship throughout my life. What began as a family tradition quickly became a personal pursuit of excellence in a sport that is both highly competitive and strategically complex. I began competing nationally at the age of 8 years old, traveling across the country to refine my skills and gain experience. In high school, I served as captain of my team and was honored with multiple awards recognizing both performance and sportsmanship. These early leadership experiences helped shape my discipline, work ethic, and commitment to continuous improvement. Today, I serve as President of the Texas A&M Bowling Team at Texas A&M University. In this role, I organize and lead team practices, coordinate tournament logistics, mentor teammates, and foster both athletic and personal development within our program. Leading the team has allowed me to not only continue improving my own performance but also invest in the growth and success of others. Bowling remains a space where I can challenge myself competitively while helping my teammates elevate their skills and confidence.

Community Service

BIIN (Brazos Interfaith Immigration Network)

Volunteer 01/2025 - Present

  • Assisted in teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) classes to adult learners from diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Supported lesson delivery by helping students practice speaking, reading, and writing skills.
  • Provided one-on-one guidance to reinforce vocabulary, pronunciation, and conversational fluency.

Verbal Testimony

This is an organization for individuals who do not understand English fully due to them coming from other countries around the world or it not being their first language. It gives them resources such as ESL classes, citizenship courses, and other things that allow them to develop and adopt English culture. Having a background in Spanish, I felt as though I could effectively help out and give back to my community in this way. I get to continuously practice my Spanish language skills while also helping determined individuals grow their English. This has made a heavy impact on me as I come to these classes and witness a group of 20-25 people per class who work all day to make a living here in this country and then go learn a different language after that for a few hours at a time. It has given me a different view on life and is extremely powerful as these individuals are working as hard as they can to make a life here in America. It has made such a big impact on me and is such a meaningful experience as I again get to grow my second language skills while also helping people who need the resources.

Faith has been a foundational part of my life from an early age. I was raised in a family where strong spiritual values were emphasized, and those principles have continued to shape my character, decision-making, and overall perspective. Over time, my faith has become the cornerstone upon which I build my core values: integrity, service, humility, and leadership. Throughout high school, I had the opportunity to lead youth groups, helping guide younger students in their own spiritual journeys. In college, I continue to grow in my faith by leading a Bible study and actively participating in church-related events and community outreach. These experiences have strengthened my ability to lead with empathy, communicate thoughtfully, and serve others with intention. I am also grateful to be surrounded by mentors and peers who challenge and encourage me to grow both spiritually and personally. Their guidance continues to shape me into a more disciplined, purpose-driven individual striving to live out my faith in both my personal and professional life.

I believe networking is one of the most important components of professional initiative and long-term success.
